This year's Croydon Camera Club Wratten lecture - entitled 'The Photographer's Eye: On Travel' - will be given by Michael Freeman, on Wednesday 11th March 2015.
Michael Freeman is the author of more than 60 titles, including over 30 photographic textbooks that have sold more than 3 million copies.
In this latest in a series of lectures by nationally and internationally renowned photographers that the club has held in alternate years since 1999, Michael will be examining in depth how to meet the main challenge for every camera enthusiast, particularly with travel photography - how to get photographs we can think of as our own, that no-one else has shot.
The Wratten Lecture - the latest in a series by prominent and internationally renowned figures in the photographic world that have been given in every alternate year since 1999 - will take place at Shirley Methodist Church, Eldon Avenue, Croydon CR0 8SD, starting at 8pm.
